Anthony J. Hernandez

Anthony J. Hernandez was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He has served in multiple public safety roles including police, fire, EMS, and disaster response, and also served as a sergeant in the Texas Military Forces.

He has volunteered for many years with organizations such as the American Red Cross and the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). His experiences in service, travel, and community work inspire the stories behind his writing.
